Zero Calorie Lemonade, Chocolate Chip Cookies, and Monster Muffins?!
Hey ya'll! I hope your week has been going well :) Today I have some recipes I have been using as of late! This is the first time in a while I have shared my recipes so I hope you enjoy!
I have been trying to drink more water lately (let me know in the comments if you want me to post some tips on how I have been drinking more water!), and one of the ways is finding or creating water-flavored BCAA's, and this zero calorie and junk free lemonade!!
based drinks that are very low in calories. My go-tos lately have been Green Tea,
This recipe is super simple, and takes less than 2 minutes to make! The three ingredients are:
And that's it! I know stevia is a controversial topic and I would like to address it on this blog, but here is a great article you can read for now! And here is one contrasting stevia to truvia. In short, true real raw stevia is not an ARTIFICIAL sweetener- it is simply from a different plant. There can be some side affects, especially for those who have problems with sugar or blood pressure; some people get headaches from it. However, it is not dangerous to people whose bodies can tolerate it! There are even said to be some benefits from stevia, such as controlling blood sugar.
ANYWAYS THE RECIPE!!
I just fill up one of my water bottles (my brother gave this adorable candy cane one!), it usually holds 2-3 cups. I add about 2 ounces of lemon juice, but use as much or as little as you'd like!. After that I add about 2 tablespoons of Raw Stevia- mix it all together and there you go! Zero calorie lemonade- no fake stuff, no insane amounts of sugar or calories!
Now, this next recipe is not a "healthy recipe," but I wanted to make my boyfriend cookies- he's been sick- and found this awesome recipe on Pinterest! Please go check this recipe out- it tastes delicious and is very simple to follow! I mean look how good they came out!! My boyfriend, brother, and dad all loved them! Make sure to get out the butter asap when you want to make these babies, because the recipe calls for butter at room temperature. Honestly I had to melt mine in the microwave just the tiniest bit because I didn't have the time to wait around! So don't worry if you have to melt the butter- they still taste amazing! ;)
Before I had the inspiration to bake cookies for my guy, I was trying to make healthy cupcakes! And also use up the can of open frosting in the fridge ;) I have kind of come up with my own recipe for healthy microwave cake, but I am still perfecting it. I wanted to create my own recipe for a yummy yet good for you cake batter! The batter itself actually had a decent consistency, but for some reason the whey I use seems to EXPLODE when it gets hot, like a microwave or oven. These cupcakes turned into Monster Muffins!!
I made about 7 cupcakes and it turned into 2 HUGE globs of cake!! Above is just part of the huge muffin I tore apart! They are so hard and so dry too, so I have been covering them in chocolate frosting or peanut butter, yummmmm:)
I hope you guys try out these recipes, and let me know how you liked them! I will get to work on creating a better batter, and when I perfect it I'll share it with you all!
Until then,
Hannah

I am ashamed I have been using this (minimally) processed lemon juice, I would prefer a real lemon but this is what I got to work with so I'll take it!!
