Simple Spring Smoothies!

To me, there is nothing quite as refreshing as sipping on a smoothie while soaking up some sunshine.  This spring sun has got me itching for some good smoothie recipes! I decided I would try some out this week, and share them with you!  There are a gazillion and one smoothie recipes out there, but I typically find they have so many ingredients! So these are going to be basic (but still yummy!!) recipes, with food/fruits that aren't difficult to find in your grocery store! What’s the Deal with “Skinny” Drinks?

Happy Monday everyone! I know some people HATE Mondays, which I completely understand, but I try to think of it as a fresh start of a new week! There's just something refreshing about a fresh start, so that encourages me to have a positive view of the usually dreaded Mondays. Just some food for thought :) But that's not the only food I want to talk about today! I want to address what perhaps everyone has heard of- "skinny" drinks. I know I can't be the only one who faces the temptation to order a Starbucks drink and ask for it "skinny." Maybe because I feel like it justifies my buying whatever I am ordering, and find encouragement in the vague title. But do we really even know what's in those drinks? Why are they "skinny"? Hey ya'll! I hope your week has been going well :) Today I have some recipes I have been using as of late! This is the first time in a while I have shared my recipes so I hope you enjoy! I have been trying to drink more water lately (let me know in the comments if you want me to post some tips on how I have been drinking more water!), and one of the ways is finding or creating water- flavored BCAA's , and this zero calorie and junk free lemonade!! based drinks that are very low in calories.
