Full Day of Eating: Lean Bulk

Happy Saturday everyone!! This is my first Full Day of Eating (FDOE) post ever! I am so excited to share this with you :) I was definitely much more conscious about what I ate today, knowing I had to share it with you guys!

First I'll give you the break down, then explain how my day went!

  • Breakfast: PB Squared Smoothie (from Booster Juice)
  • Lunch: Chobani Greek Yogurt, Cutie, Angie's Popcorn, Peanut Butter Toast
  • Dinner: Turkey and Veggie Stir Fry
  • Snack: Tortilla Chips and Guacamole, Apple and Peanut Butter

I am currently playing church volleyball, and Saturdays we have our games. I was running late this morning and didn't have much time to grab food, but I stopped at Booster Juice to grab a "PB Squared" smoothie. I usually order a medium, and oh my goodness it was SO delicious!! So that was my breakfast, around 9 AM.

After I got home, I went into my garage to get a workout in, and afterwards I had a Strawberry Chobani Greek Yogurt. I watched a show with my younger brother and had a Cutie Orange and Angie's Boom Chicka Pop Popcorn. And drank water with my straw! ;)

I have been wanting to make a stir fry with the frozen vegetables I have for the last couple weeks, so I finally made it for dinner tonight! I added almost 4 oz of deli meat turkey and a handful of spinach to the mixed veggies.

I used about 2 servings of this bag of veggies! I bought it from Fred Meyers, but you can find similar products almost anywhere!

After I put the whole stir fry into the bowl, I added Garlic Powder, Paprika, Black Pepper, Cayenne Pepper, Turmeric, and a No Salt Seasoning. It was so good, I will be remembering to make stir fries like this more often!

After dinner I was VERY hungry, and I really wanted some guacamole! So I ate it with some tortilla chips, and because I was still hungry I cut up part of an apple with about a tablespoon and a half of peanut butter.

And that's all! My eating times were a little different than usual, but that's okay :) Below I have some screenshots of my beloved Lifesum app. It tracks almost EVERYTHING!!

This is the "Home" page, where it shows you how many calories you have eaten (left), how many you have left to eat (center) and how many you have burned (right). The smiley face in the blue box is my rating for the day. This means I was healthy!!!!

Just below is a summary of your meals, and also the rating for each of those. I currently have the Premium version, but the free one is also amazing!!!

Here shows my intake for the day, of calories and also macronutrients (fat, carbs, protein). The ratios show your goal percentages of each, and also what they were for the day! As you can see my protein was a little low, and fats were a little higher.

And here shows how many grams you ate of each macronutrient, and also some micronutrients. As you can see, I only ate 106 grams of protein, instead of around 130 grams :((( But I had over 100, so I'm okay with that!

I personally mostly pay attention to how much protein I eat, and the amount of calories. This is different than "macro tracking." I still have set goals, but I pay more attention to the amount of calories and grams of protein. If I see that half way through the day I am a little high in fat and low on carbs, I will try to make sure my next meal has more carbs than fat! I am most concerned with overall calories, then grams of protein, then the ratio of macros. But see what works for you!

Thank you so much for reading and supporting my blog! Stay tuned for more, and have a great rest of your weekend!
Hannah
