So the other day my family and I had pancakes, and of course, Daisy Doodle(my dog) wanted some, too. So my dad whipped up some little pancakes for her. We call them DoodleKakes! Instructions for making a DoodleKake:
You will need:
- one egg
- 1/2 cup of cornmeal
- spoon
- bowl
- griddle
- spatula
Mix one egg and 1/2 cup of cornmeal in the bowl, and stir it with the spoon. Pour batter on to a hot griddle(you can put the griddle between 350 and 400 degrees). Cook for 1-2 minutes, or until edges are dull. Flip over with a spatula. Cook until done. Flip off of griddle onto a plate. They should be pretty hot, so let them cool down before giving them to your dog. A quicker way to cool them down is to put the m on an anti-griddle or in the freezer.
