If you love dogs enough to want to work with them, then there are many jobs that enable you to work with dogs. There is a variety of jobs with dogs, depending on what you like. The list I have supplied is just a few of the many Dog Jobs.
  • Animal Behaviorists: work with animals who have unwanted behaviors; sometimes can prescribe medicine(Veterinary Behaviorists), not all owners listen to what you suggest, risks injury from stressed animals.
  • Doggie Day Care: take care of dogs(and/or pets) while owners are at work or on vacation; get to play with dogs(animals) all day, possibly overnight, dogs can get into fights and may possibly bite humans or other dogs.
  • Dog Breeding: breed and raise puppies(happy and healthily), can either be a hobby or a career; get to experience raising puppies from birth(and before), may not make profit for many years, puppies may die(mother's might die, also), can get costly.
  • Dog Grooming: clipping and styling dogs fur/hair, sometimes dying their fur/hair different color(s), dogs that come in may not be groomed(stinky, dirty, hair matted, etc.), possible injury from stressed or frightened dogs.
  • Dog Sitting/Walking: walking dogs, sitting them overnight(sometimes at your own house, or taking care of them at their house), can be a job/hobby(it's my job, but then again, I'm only 12!), must be able to take care of/walk on odd days, income can be unpredictable.
  • Dog Showing: (Handlers) showing your own dog, or someone else's, must have vast knowledge of dog breeds and dog showing,(Judges) must have a very vast knowledge of dog breeds and showing, must have had shown dogs for many years(must be a handler first), being able to know the ins-and-outs of dog showing takes years of dedication and determination, must have a lot of time to devote to your dog and training him/her.
  • Dog Trainer: Teaching the human how to train their dog(they aren't training the dog, they're training you!), varieties of places to work(working with canine actors/actresses, working dogs/guide dogs, etc.), must have patience with the owner and the dog, some owners encourage bad behavior, don't follow your instructions
