Puppy Mills

Puppy Mills are horrible things. Here are some things you might not of known about Puppy Mills.

• The poor dogs are kept in cages for their entire life, which helps spread disease
• They NEVER touch grass or solid ground for the whole time they are at the Mill
• The dogs die of the heat in the summer and freeze in the winter
• The females are bred over and over until they can't reproduce any more. After that they are usually killed or sold to laboratories for experiments
• Dog food is bought by the truckload. Sometimes it is made of the sweepings from the floor(That is SOOOOO gross.)
• About 3,500 petstores in the US sell puppies from Puppy Mills
• Petstores lie about where the puppies came from. They will tell you that the puppies came from local or quality breeders. Ask to see the paperwork and you can find out where they really came from.
